The purpose of this section is to demonstrate a feature of academic publishing that will, one can hope, become routine: the ability to link from a brief citation to a larger quote, from which the citation was drawn. Open-access publishing and automated text processing can bring (in a world where academics can agree to this) a large corpus of academic writing into a digital, searchable, linkable resource. This means that the reader can move from a citation to a larger context, and then to the original text.
